We provide a complete dryer vent cleaning from both ends, including pulling the dryer away from the wall for thorough cleaning of the transition hose and exhaust tube, deep cleaning of the lint screen housing, and professional airflow speed testing. Before and after photos are provided with every job. If, for any reason, the service cannot be completed upon arrival, a $79.00 service charge will apply. Please also note that a 3% credit card processing fee will be added to all card payments.

Metal Bird-proof Damper Installation

This damper uses a recessed door flap system not allowing birds to open it from the outside. They also include two small magnets to help secure the door flap when the dryer is not in use. Using airflow from the dryer, it is easily opened from the inside and freely lets all the lint out. Made of galvanized, powder-coated metal, the worry of it becoming brittle and breaking disappears. All dampers have a lifetime guarantee and include a free cleaning if a bird ever happens to get inside.
Code Section M1502 states you cannot install a screen on the duct termination. This is one of the leading causes of all dryer fires. Insurance will not payout if a fire occured and a screen was present at the time. The galvanized bird proof damper is the best of both worlds, having no screen but also fully protecting against birds.
